Vibrant Future for Local Residents

The acquisition of Nigg Community Hall has secured a vibrant future for Local Residents.

Nigg Community Hall has successfully secured the funds from Scottish Land Fund to buy back their Hall.

We took the first step towards this purchase in October 2024 when seven volunteers set up a Steering Group to reclaim the hall for community use as a sustainable asset.

The past twelve months have been a busy time for the group of volunteers who have set up the hall as a charity, applied for funding and presented a business case to the KLTR.

We have achieved our goal to bring the hall back to the community and the next step is to complete the conveyancing and the essential repairs before we can open the Hall once again.
